Royal Travel and Cruise Center is a 'full service' travel agency offering efficient personalized service for all of your business and leisure travel needs from our office in the City of Cold Lake, Alberta.  Our staff are all highly trained and have travelled extensively. 

Norman Sinclair - President

Norm is a retired air force fighter pilot and our resident South American and Thailand expert. As a pilot, Norm was fortunate enough to get to see most of the world and in recent years he and his wife Connie have been to Peru three times and have also toured through Ecuador, Bolivia and central Mexico.  They attended the Expo Mundial Turismo in Mexico City and are Certified Mexico Experts as well attended as the PATA conference where they gained valuable contacts in the travel industry in South East Asia . They have also visited Thailand three times and have photos and information available to share with anyone thinking of visiting this amazing destination.  Over the past two years they also have gone on a few cruises and have just came back from a week in the Mayan Riviera to check out the status of the hurricane affected region. Recently they have experienced first hand an exposure to the new wave of "medical tourism" after becoming dissatisfied with our own health care system and would be pleased to share this fantastic experience with anyone looking for five star health care options in an exotic location.

Connie Cripps - Accountant

Connie handles the financial side of things at Royal Travel and can often be seen stepping into the role of travel agent as well.  As mentioned above, she and husband Norm have travelled extensively in South America, Mexico and now Thailand. Connie has also traveled throughout the U.S. and Europe and is fluent in Spanish and French. 

Helga Bordeleau -  Travel Consultant

Helga has been with Royal Travel for over four years.  Prior to her taking a position with Royal Travel, she  worked in Edmonton for several years as a travel consultant with a major retail chain.  While there, she  traveled throughout Europe, Mexico, and the U.S.   With Royal Travel, she has investigated the wonders of Cancun and the Mayan Riviera , Los Cabos,  the Dominican Republic, Hong Kong,  Beijing and enjoyed a  Caribbean Cruise onboard Celebrity Cruise Lines.   Helga’s speciality is destination wedding planning, and group travel.

Lynne Kovacs -  Travel Consultant

As a mother of three, Lynne is an expert at planning the perfect family holiday. From camping trips to Disney getaways, Lynne knows what it takes to make the most of a family trip. Since joining Royal Travel almost five years ago, she has travelled throughout the British Isles, spent a week checking out the amenities in Hawaii, investigated the hotels and beaches in Cuba, managed a one week Carribean cruise with Carnival, and has just returned from a fact finding mission to Disneyland and Disney World.  She specializes in cruise holidays, and, naturally Disney vacations.

Kylie de Rouw - Travel Consultant

Kylie is back with us again after working the past year in Edmonton , where she specialized in her native Australia and New Zealand. Kylie has worked  extensively in the travel industry "downunder"  and has also travelled to many exotic destinations in the South Pacific as well as Thailand, Europe, and the US. Just prior to arriving in Canada, she cruised the Mediterranean, hitting shore at the most  interesting  tourism areas.  As the “Wizard of Oz”, she specializes in “long haul” visits to her native Australia, along with New Zealand,  the South Pacific and Asia.

Karla Cripps - Webmaster

Karla is Royal Travel's marketing specialist and backpacking expert. She has traveled extensively throughout Europe, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, Mexico and the U.S. If you have any questions about traveling on a budget or working holidays abroad, Karla's the one to talk to.  Unfortunately, we sent Karla to investigate the mysteries of South East Asia over a year ago, and, mysteriously, she has yet to return.  She has travelled extensively in Thailand (she lives in Bangkok), Cambodia, Singapore and Myanmar (Burma) .  She regularly passes us information on hotels, tour attractions, transportation, food, and local “culture”, which has been invaluable for travellers we have sent to this region.
